Last night, I was fortunate enough to see Portugal The Man perform. They performed an intimate concert at my college, and practically melted the faces of the audience with their progressive instrumental strings and ballads. They even covered MGMT's Midnight Warrior, so extra cred for that.
I also got to talk to them last night, not about their music. But about their taste in neck candy, as I so endearingly refer to necklaces. Probably one of the more interesting conversations they'd have with a fan last night (everyone else just proclaimed their love for the music and how much they wanted to 'bang' them...not sure if that was a sexual come-on or a physical threat on their lives).
